Academic Coaching for Neurodivergent Students

Coaching students and their parents with ADHD, dyslexia, high-functioning autism, dyscalculia, anxiety, depression, and dysgraphia, and other brain-based disorders.

Executive Function Skills: These include organization, time management, prioritizing, and self-advocacy. These skills can be particularly challenging for neurodiverse students, especially those with ADHD. Our coaching also supports children with autism, dyslexia, and other brain-based disorders, tailoring our approach to meet their unique needs.

Coaching is different from tutoring: While tutors focus on teaching specific subjects, our coaching addresses the broader challenges neurodivergent students face. We work with students with IEP or 504 Plans to help them advocate for their learning needs and achieve greater success.

Parent Involvement: Parents initially play a crucial role in learning the systems for their child's success in school and life. As the student becomes more independent, parent involvement decreases. We focus on study skills and include parents at the end of sessions to discuss what was taught or any issues covered. Our ultimate goal is for students to meet with us independently once they have achieved consistent success.
